About Jo Cooksey, MBACP
Life can present many challenges and sometimes we all need someone to talk to — a professional who can help us work through difficult emotions, guide us in managing stress, or assist in navigating personal struggles. As an experienced, qualified and BACP registered Counsellor based in Manchester, England, I am here to offer that support. I work with adults, both men and women, across the UK and internationally.
With years of training and experience, I provide a safe, confidential space where you can feel truly heard and understood. I offer individual one-to-one counselling online via video, in-person, or as a walk and talk session. You can book as few or as many sessions as you wish. Each session is one hour long and payable at least 48 hours in advance. I am DBS checked and GDPR compliant.
I am also a qualified Breathwork and Mindfulness teacher, and I offer specialist life coaching sessions for Perimenopausal, Menopausal and Post Menopausal women who feel like they have lost themselves. If this resonates with you, please do get in touch.
My practice is built on respect, compassion and confidentiality. You will find a calm, welcoming environment where you will be free to express yourself without fear or judgement. Every session is centred on helping you feel heard, understood and empowered. If you are ready, reach out — together we can find a path through the challenges you are facing.
